Light Cured Lash Extension FAQs

  • It’s a new, science-backed adhesive system that uses a safe purple visible light to instantly cure the lash glue during application. It offers better retention and less irritation compared to traditional adhesives. UV stands for “ultra violet” and “LED’ is the type of lightbulb being used.

  • Yes! The purple visible light used is completely safe and only cures the adhesive on the surface. It can not penetrate the skin tissue like red or green light, so there’s no risk of irritation from deeper skin exposure.

  • With good aftercare, most clients enjoy their lashes for 2–3 weeks before needing a fill. With my advanced light-curing system, some go up to 4 weeks!

  • Yes, but avoid oil-based products and mascara, especially waterproof types. These can break down the adhesive and shorten retention.

  • Washing your lashes is SUPER easy and requires 4 steps. Luckily, you can do this at the sink or in the shower. Gather the following: lash cleanser, cleansing brush, lash wand, syringe bottle, mini fan, and a face towel.

Step 1: Pump cleanser onto your closed eyelid, ensuring it's for eyelash extensions only. New clients receive a complimentary bottle with their first appointment!

Step 2: Use the lash brush to gently stroke your lashes downward as well as in a circular motion targeting the top and bottom of the lash line. When done wipe off any excess soap with the brush.

Step 3: Hold the towel under your eye, then rinse your lashes with the syringe bottle to remove the soap. Ensure there's no makeup residue. Repeat on the other eye!

Step 4: Use the mini fan and lash wand to brush and dry your lashes. If you don’t have a mini fan, no biggie! Just pat the lashes with your face towel, let them air dry and brush them out. All done!

Btw it's totally normal for some lashes to shed during a cleanse! It’s a refresher for your lashes.

  • Your lash lift typically lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare.

  • Yes, but avoid water, steam, and mascara for the first 24 hours. After that, you can go back to your normal routine—most clients find they don’t even need mascara!

  • Not at all. We use keratin-infused, nourishing products that are safe and designed to strengthen and protect your natural lashes.

  • Your results will typically last 4–6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and how well you care for your brows.

  • Absolutely. We also offer tinting as an add-on to enhance the color and shape of your brows, but you can still fill them in as usual if you like more definition.
